TESTIMONIALS
It’s been such a joy to watch so many designers grow in confidence, deepen their practice, and create work they’re proud of. Here’s what a few of them had to say after finishing the course:
“This course has helped me find my creative flow again, balancing adult life while trying to keep up my creative abilities can be hard but this course helped me keep accountability for my work. I now have a great structure and routine in place for my future work. Very excited to see what the future holds!”
-Hayley Clernon
“I’ve really enjoyed doing the 8 week course, it’s certainly given me a challenge to create more and more prints each week, having to carefully plan my time a bit more each week without being thrown into doing a full collection per week from the beginning. It gives a much more enjoyable approach to practicing work as I just thought “I can do this, it’s only one more than last week”, and therefore didn’t feel too overwhelmed. Sally gave great briefs, and encouraging feedback throughout and I was excited to see what she thought of each print collection every week. I am glad to have to have done the course and feel a lot more comfortable now both in regards to my skills in drawing and making repeat designs, but also comfortable in knowing that I can reach goals when they are put in place and I hold myself accountable.”
-Sarah Healy
“I enjoyed Sally’s Pace course, it pushed me out of my comfort zone, to using different materials and methods of mark making whilst encouraging me to think laterally, focusing less time on small detail.”
-Heidi Vilkman
